National Teams
Red, White, & Blue National Teams are by Invitation Only
These teams are designed for divers who wish to participate and train at a higher level. Mandatory weekly practice schedule which can vary by registration session.
Red Team - 8th grade and younger.
White Team - High School age, for divers who are committed to diving year-round with goals to compete in Jr. National meets and eventually dive in college.
Blue Team - High School age, for those who have dedicated themselves to diving as their primary sport, committed to dive year-round, are close to or have already developed the skills necessary to compete in Jr. National and Sr. National meets and are committed to diving in college.

Practices
Red Team ~ 8 hours per week
White Team ~ 10 hours per week
Blue Team ~ 12 hours per week
Meets
Attending meets for National Team divers is required.
AFD Team Gear
AFD approved team suits and apparel is required for all National Team divers.

Remember to make sure your AAU Diving and USA Diving memberships are current before you begin the registration process. You will need to enter the diver's membership numbers to begin registration. Click here for membership info.
Do not register for the National Team if you have not been invited to do so by your AFD coaches.

Practice locations at University of Akron, University School, and Cleveland State University.
NATIONAL TEAM - Summer 2024
The National Team consist of highly competitive divers whom have dedicated themselves to train hard and put forth their best effort everyday. This program is meant to be enjoyable but it is not designed for recreational diving! Divers will be training for AAU Diving and USA Diving national competitions. It is only through high level diving technique and increased knowledge of the sport that divers increase their opportunity to improve and become great.
