Blue Team
Blue Team consist of highly competitive divers whom have dedicated themselves to train hard and put forth their best effort everyday. This program is meant to be enjoyable but it is not designed for recreational diving. Divers will be training for AAU Diving and USA Diving Jr. National competitions and possible senior-level competitions. It is only through high level diving technique and increased knowledge of the sport that divers increase their opportunity to improve and become great.
Ages
Divers of any age who have advanced past Learn To Dive and are committed to improving their skills and learning new dives on 1 meter, 3 meter and platform.
When
Training commitment of 5 days per week.

Practice locations vary based on team schedule and pool availability.

Practices
Blue Team practices average 2.5 hours. Practice times vary based on team schedule and pool availability.
Meets
Blue Team will focus on competing at the national level of junior diving. Blue Team divers are required to attend all AAU Diving and USA Diving meets that AFD attends and should supplement with ODL meets.

White Team is available to divers only by invitation from the AFD coaching staff.
Remember to make sure your AAU Diving and USA Diving memberships are current before you begin the registration process.

2027 Blue Team
Divers are able to join the Blue Team only after an evaluation process and invitation from the AFD Coaching Staff.
