2027 Travel Team
Red, White & Blue teams make up the AFD Travel Team. Travel Team membership is by invitation only. AFD coaches must evaluate all divers and discuss expectations of practice and meet attendance with diver and family before invitations are offered.
Travel Team divers have minimum practice requirements and are required to attend meets with AFD.
Travel Teams are year long commitments by diver and family. Divers may be invited to move up from Red to White, or White to Blue and any point in the year, but it is never a requirement. If divers move to a more competitive team during the 2027 Season, coaching costs will be discussed and adjusted based on remaining competitions.

Red: Ohio Diving League
White: Ohio Diving League & AAU Diving
Blue: Ohio Diving League, AAU Diving, USA Diving Jr. Circuit
Divers are always encouraged to compete in additional meets outside their team focus. Additional competitions will have additional coaching and travel costs. Event entry fees for all meets are always the responsibility of the diver.
The annual membership does not cover training tuition. Divers need to register for their respective team membership, then register for their Practice Group and number of days of training. Once the annual membership is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to your respective team to register for practices.
If practice and meet commitments are not being met at any point throughout the 2027 Season, AFD coaches are able to move divers to teams with lower commitment levels.
Red Team
The Red Team consist of divers who are ready to start competing in skillset based meets with the Ohio Diving League and AAU Diving qualifying meets. This program is meant to transition divers from recreational diving to the entry-level competitive diving meets around the state of Ohio and nearby states.
Practice Expectations
2 days a week minimum up to 4 days.

White Team
The White Team consist of highly competitive divers whom have dedicated themselves to train hard and put forth their best effort everyday. This program is meant to transition divers from recreational diving to the more competitive diving competitions around the country. Divers will be training for AAU Diving National meets and USA Diving Regional and Zone meets.

3 days a week minimum up to 4 days.

Blue Team
The Blue Team consist of highly competitive divers whom have dedicated themselves to train hard and put forth their best effort everyday. This program is meant to be enjoyable but it is not designed for recreational diving. Divers will be training for AAU Diving and USA Diving Jr. National competitions and possible senior-level competitions. It is only through high level diving technique and increased knowledge of the sport that divers increase their opportunity to improve and become great.
